I love to cook, so I'm warning you now that this blog will be heavily influenced by my adoration of cooking. I am a pretty darn good cook too! I'm not just bragging but I have experience from the restaurants that I worked in for 5 years and from my mom and grandmother who were both wonderful cooks. Not to mention my home town of New Orleans has had a major influence on my cuisine.
Now I live in a smaller town 45 minutes north of Houston. It was a major culture shock when I came to Texas after hurricane Katrina. So now I am cooking more "countrified" an less red beans.
